Jabari Anderson (Mentee) : This was a very good experience. In the beginning I was nervous but as the weeks went on I became more open with my fellow binrin.  In the end this program was very helpful for me to become an adult. I learned a lot of new things and made lots of new friends.

Jelani Bodden (Mentee): This program was help for me because I made new friends who are like brothers and sisters to me. We may not be from the same place but we all still where able to understand each other.

Michelle Bodden (Parent): Both of my children have gone through the program.  It was great – each of them learned a lot and grew in maturity through the year. I highly recommend it!

Joseph Reece (Mentor): This Egbe will give young people the tools to make the transition from boy to man and girl to women. Most of our grads have life long bonds with this Egbe because they are grateful for what they received while in this program.

Bill Mathew (Mentor): The Egbe Iwa Odo provides a wealth of guidance, resources and training in establishing good correction in young men and women.

Omilana Horge (Mentor): This Egbe offers a great experience for young people of our community to develop any growth in a positive way, learning tradition and spirituality from their elders. The elders learn from the young people as well. Together we can become a better community.
